This piece almost didn't happen. It was the day of the deadline, and for hours, the canvas stayed completely blank. The inspiration just wasn't there. I spent most of the day listening to podcasts, feeling a bit stuck, and hoping for a spark.
Then, around 5:00 PM, everything shifted. I received an exciting invitation from Gareth T., and a sudden wave of energy hit me. Right around the same time, a comment from one of my social media followers gave me the perfect color ideas.
I picked up my paints and just started pouring. I stopped overthinking and let the emotions take over. Everything finally flowed.
As I was finishing up, a Gareth T. song was playing in the background, and I knew exactly what to name the piece: The Flowers in Your Hair.
This painting is a reminder that you can't force creativity. Sometimes, you just have to stop pushing, step back, and be ready to receive inspiration when it finally decides to show up. "Sometimes, the best ideas don’t come when we are stressing out and forcing them. They find us when we finally relax, live in the moment, and just let things happen."
